- Other Communities (OC) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 45% in
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
- Backward class Community (BC) and BC (Muslims) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with
minimum average of 40% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
- Most Backward class Community (MBC) & DNC of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum
average of 40% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together .
- SCA/SC/ST community of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with minimum average of 40% in
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
Diploma Candidates :
A pass with minimum eligibility marks in one of the Diploma Courses in Engineering /
Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.
For candidates belonging to
- Other Communities (OC): A minimum average of 55% of marks from Ist semester to VIth
semester
- BC & BC (Muslims) Communities: A minimum average of 50% of marks from Ist semester
to VIth semester.
- MBC & DNC Communities: A minimum average of 45% of marks from Ist semester to VIth
semester.
- SCA/SC/ST Communities: A minimum average of 40% of marks from Ist semester to VIth
semester.
M.E. Computer Science and Engineering:
A Pass in B.E./B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and
Engineering , Software Engineering, Computers and Communication Engineering, Electronics
Engineering , Medical Electronics, Biomedical Engineering , Information Technology) with
minimum 50% mark.
M.E. Structural Engineering:
A Pass in B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) with minimum 50% mark.
M.B.A :
Possession of any Bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks for General Category and 45% for
Reserved Category.
