Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme offered at Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College, Chennai, recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated by the Anna University, Chennai.Aim of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) is to tackle complex real-world problems(web search, speech recognition, and machine translation) that span across various practices of engineering with rigorous mathematical tools. The objective of this course is to present an overview of the principles and practices of AI to address such complex real-world problems. The course is designed to develop a basic understanding of problem solving, knowledge representation, reasoning and learning methods of AI.
B. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is an undergraduate programme with advanced learning solutions imparting knowledge of advanced innovations like machine learning, often called deep learning and artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processed by machines, especially computer systems. It is a wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. During the past ten years, data science has emerged as one of the most high-growth, dynamic, and lucrative careers in technology. This programme develops the skills of creating fastest working apps or solutions integrated with analytical information. Data Science is an interdisciplinary field with the ability to extract knowledge/insight from data twinned from multiple sources like sensors, images, video streaming, satellite, medical imagery and the cloud.
This specialisation is designed to enable students to build intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of machine learning, analytics and visualisation technologies. The main goal of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is to acquire the ability to design intelligent solutions to problems in a variety of domains and business applications and fields such as natural language processing, text mining, robotics, reasoning and problem-solving.
This programme discusses AI methods based in different fields, including neural networks, signal processing, control, and data mining, in order to present a unified treatment of machine learning problems and solutions.

Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems
